Atlas changes the name of their Special Products Division.

Atlas Van Lines Canada has recently changed the name of their Special Products Division to Atlas Canada Logistics to better reflect today’s marketplace.
Earle Birt has been hired as VP and his mandate is to re-structure and build the overall Logistics division’s service levels and capacity.
Atlas Canada currently has 20 trucks on the Logistics fleet and offers regular scheduled service across Canada and to the US. Atlas agents are now able to offer their clients regular scheduled service as well as customized service levels.
Atlas Canada Logistics is focusing on pad wrap and specialized service for TL and LTL to start and will be expanding their capabilities in the near future to include freight and freight brokerage.
Jeff Hartleib has been hired as the Director of Atlas Canada Logistics with the responsibility for the day to day operations.
“Giving the best service possible to our agents and customers and never turning down an opportunity is key to the division’s future success” said Earle Birt, VP. “Our goal is provide a quote within 1 hour of receiving a rate request from an agent or client”.
The Logistics division plans to increase the fleet to accommodate additional services in the future.
